Apple is working on a scratch-resistant coating Gadget

30 Oct
Does this sound familiar: the first day and you’ve got a small scratch on his iPhone, Mac or MacBook. But Apple is working on a solution, the aluminum is used to make the impact less sensitive than before. The patent is dated 6 April 2010, and registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
A cost-effective system should be used to the metal in the production in addition to apply a coating of nitrides, which ensures mainly the color fastness of the metal. In titanium nitride creates a golden color that catches the eye with a product to be more negative if it is to remain silver.
Particularly interesting is the fact that this alloy, the metal is not magnetic, and even less susceptible to interference power. As many know, sometimes I have problems with the iPhone 4, when covered with the finger points that are important for the antenna.
